Project: From Stills to Motion, Social Video Shorts 🎬

This personal project was an exploration into transforming still photographs into dynamic, captivating video content for social media. On platforms like Instagram where motion is key to capturing attention, a static image can get lost. My goal was to use advanced post-production techniques to breathe life into my photography, creating eye-catching videos from a series of high-quality stills.

My Solution
I handled the entire post-production workflow, taking my original photographs and using the Adobe Creative Suite to build them into engaging video shorts.

Match Cut & Hyper-Lapse Sequences: I meticulously edited photos together to create seamless match cuts, where the subject remains constant while the background changes instantly, and fast-paced hyper-lapses that bring urban details to life.

Advanced Post-Production: I used a combination of Adobe Lightroom for the initial photo grading, Premiere Pro for sequencing and timing the cuts to music or a rhythm, and After Effects for more complex stabilisation and tracking.

Thematic Storytelling: Each video is built around a theme, whether it's a single photoshoot across multiple locations or a collection of similar subjects, to create a short and cohesive visual story.

The Result
The final output is a collection of unique, scroll-stopping videos perfectly suited for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok. This project demonstrates my ability to think creatively about content and use a full suite of post-production tools to turn a simple concept into a polished and dynamic final piece.

Key Skills Showcased: Video Editing (Premiere Pro), Motion Graphics (After Effects), Photo Editing (Lightroom), Match Cutting, Hyper-lapses
